We often forget the power of a sensibly designed staircase railing as well as its amenity, within a given space. An example of sensible design is this web of steel crafted by Monoloko design for a residence they put together.
The railing feature thin steel rods placed at random angles and spacing between two steel flat bars and powder coated black. The railing is topped off with a pristine strip of timber as is present in other parts of the space, thus serving as both and accent and a functional hand rail.
Its a pleasurable piece of creativity.
