The Rail Desk by California-based industrial designer Phan Thao Dang, is a (very) minimalist modern desk that features just three main elements, a dense block of composite board which makes up the work surface and two, bent steel tubes that serves as the ‘legs’ of the desk providing support and surprising stability. The simplicity of the design makes it easy to manufacture, flat pack and ship.

Suited for both homes and offices, RD01 (The Rail Desk 01) is a graphical, low-key addition to any modern space. Its visually light appearance is based on the simple construction of the legs. Manufactured from bent tubular steel, the opposing angle legs are designed to provide maximum stability with minimum parts. Additionally, the desk can be flat-packed and doesn’t require any fasteners for a quick and easy assembly.
